Chapter 4 - Junkyard Surprise

Greenland Bay Junkyard

Davey knelt down and began rummaging through the junk pile in front of him. He sifted through some of the smaller pieces at the front, pulling them out and then throwing them to the side, making three smaller piles--one for plastic, one for metal and one for wood.

This is basically what his job at the local junkyard entailed, sorting through other sims junk that they no longer wanted or needed.
He continued to throw plastic and wood into the piles he made but there didn't seem to be a lot of smaller pieces in this particular mound of junk due to it containing more medium to larger sized household items like microwaves, blenders, and a smallish satellite dish. Where ever that came from god only knows--maybe the local radio station?

Chapter 3 - Opportunities

Early morning,  Greenland Bay Plaza

Will stopped in front of the neatly stacked and packed stall out the front of the grocers. He placed several and various kinds of fruit into a plastic bag. He was running an urgent errand for his lately demanding and very pregnant wife.
Eliza had been really indecisive as to just exactly what she felt like eating so all she did was ask him to pick up some 'something healthy' on his way to drop Charlotte off at school.

"Anything specific?" he asked her on his way out the front door, which was probably a mistake.

"No! Whatever! Anything will do! As long as it's fruit of some kind!" She snapped at him from the kitchen. And just before he closed the front door she yelled out a, "Thank you darling!"

He tried to forgive her for her mood swings and snappiness, and not take it to heart. He knew it had a lot to do with her hormones at the moment and the fact that, well, this was their fourth child.

Beachside Apartments - Sunsong Avenue, Greenland Bay

Natasha followed Josh up the stairs to the second floor of the apartment. Josh pushed his bedroom door open allowing Natasha to walk through first.

"So... looks like you've pretty much settled in already." She said as she sat down on the edge of the bed, crossing her legs and looking around his bedroom.

Josh hadn't completely unpacked all his belongings, there were still a few boxes that remained unopened, but these he pushed into the bare corners of his new room planning to unpack them later.

Seymour Residence - 350 Oak Grove Rd, Greenland Bay

A cool afternoon breeze swept over her bare shoulders as Eliza hugged her son goodbye. She was probably hugging him too tightly for his liking but she couldn't help it. The day that she thought she'd be prepared for had come and she realized that she was far from prepared by the overwhelming loud sobs that rose up from her chest.

Their first born, and now their eldest, was moving out of home. She closed her eyes and thought back to the days when Josh first came into the world. He was such a delightful little baby and soon quickly grew into a very curious toddler.

Poll Results

What would you like to read more of in The Drifter?

Okay so I went a little silly on the pie chart above, but my last poll chart was so bad that I felt I had to make up for it this time around, lol!
I'm really happy with the percentage of votes this time around. Thanks everyone and once again YOU will be taking part in creating your own little piece of history very soon in Part Five of The Drifter!

To see that Romance is the clear winner here makes me even happier because I enjoy writing this genre in my sim stories so much. Actually it's really the only thing that I feel confident and comfortable writing about.

So I guess Drama goes hand in hand with Romance, and Suspense I can guarantee! But Death? Really? Do you really want to see one of my characters, die? I can barely even say it let alone think it. lol Just so you know I'm silently freaking out about this. Eeek! Kaleeko, I will be calling upon you when and if this gets written into Part Five as I think I'm going to need a little help with this one.

Keep and eye out for a poll new, which will be posted soon-ish, and also for the first chapter of Part Five! Woo hoo!

Part Four Catch Up

**Spoiler Alert**

Valen-teen Day Special

Late afternoon, Mitchell Residence

"Okay, you can open your eyes now. Surprise!"

Five minutes before, Josh had asked Natasha to close her eyes and not open them. He lead her carefully down the patio stairs and down towards the end of the pool. His hands were sweating and he hoped that she hadn't noticed, because he was nervous.

Behind The Scenes of Part Four

Time for some major story pic spam! Some funny and not so funny blooper shots from Part 4. I had an absolute ball writing and shooting this Part. Loved every minute of it! Hope you get a kick outta some of the shots below.

P.S. There's a Nikki and Susannah show down, quick! ;)

Part 4 Finale - Things To Come

Hamming Pier Road, Bridgeport

Sandy sat up and swung her legs over the edge of the bed then stretched her arms up towards the ceiling of her bedroom. She'd just slept all through the night again which meant she'd had another good nights sleep.
She stood up and pulled the covers over the bed, smoothing it over with her hands, roughly making the bed before making her way into the living room and saying hello to the new day that was upon her.
